Last week’s ISC West security expo is a wrap, and HID Global has emerged as a clear winner from the event, with the Security Industry Association having recognized HID Global in its New Product Showcase competition. The company won in the Access Control Devices & Peripherals Wireless category for its HID Location Services solution.
The solution is designed to offer organizations the ability to track the locations of the members of its workforce around a given facility, and to offer predictive analytics that could be used to establish greater efficiency. Commenting on its award win in a statement, HID Global VP Harm Radstaak said, “Receiving this accolade by one of the industry’s most influential organizations reinforces the value of using trusted identities to help organizations have more secure, connected and convenient experiences.”
The company demonstrated the solution from their booth at ISC West, where another technological field in which HID Global has some expertise, biometric access control and attendance tracking, also took a considerable share of the spotlight. Executives from companies like MorphoTrak and FST Biometrics went in-depth in discussing their technologies with FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill, and Suprema and BioConnect showcased such solutions in their joint presentations as well.
