This week at Mobile ID World consumer facing technology was the name of the game. Apple was all over the news and mCommerce continued to capture the industry’s attention. The Internet of Things still remains a fixture this week too, making good on continued speculation that 2015 is the year of M2M.
Here is how this week shaped up in terms of mobile identity management:
Smart Cities
This week the Internet of Things was subject of much discussion. The US Federal Trade Commission found itself at a loss when considering how to best regulate the massive influx of connectivity while business leaders at Accenture found opportunity in the Internet of Things, seeing ways that said connectivity can benefit both organizations and workers.
Frost and Sullivan meanwhile announced a report that plans to bring the big picture of connectivity into focus. In any case, Internet of Things is certainly a dynamic and important topic, one that has a great deal to do with identity.
