Gemalto Tech Helps Secure BNP Paribas mPayment SolutionThe solution, called Wa! and developed by RMW, allows for mobile payments and the integration of digital coupons and loyalty cards. Wa! uses Gemalto’s Mobile Protector platform for customer enrollment and authentication, with the system prompting customers to confirm payments using either a PIN or fingerprint scan.

In a statement announcing Wa!, RMW CEO Jacek Szpakiewicz said that “Gemalto provided a perfect fit for our mobile security needs, combined with ease of use.”
