Intercede‘s MyID solution has now come to Citrix‘s XenMobile platform.
MyID is essentially designed to let businesses replace employee’s passwords with digital IDs on mobile devices or smart cards. XenMobile, meanwhile, is Citrix’s mobile device and application management solution for the enterprise. The two solutions therefore seem a natural fit.
In a statement announcing the integration, Intercede CEO Richard Harris emphasized the growing need for security beyond password credentials, asserting that cyberattacks against businesses are on the rise. “Coupled with the move towards mobile workforces, it is vital that enterprises adopt EMM solutions with the highest levels of security to avoid falling victim to hackers,” he said.
The solution could appeal to both security conscious businesses and even government agencies, with Intercede and Citrix asserting that their combined solution is FIPS 201-2 and SP800-157 compliant.
