June 18 - June 20
ID4Africa 2019 builds on the achievements of the 4th Annual Meeting in 2018 by defining a context for the adoption and deployment of responsible identity systems, including legal frameworks, institutional arrangements, governance, data protection, privacy and human rights. Special attention is given to the use of identity in support of service delivery to enhance inclusion and access by all sectors of society. The annual government forum and expo focuses on digital identity and its application for driving socio-economic development in Africa. It provides a unique opportunity for African nations to compare experiences, share knowledge and pool resources to build capacity related to developing identity systems.
