The company’s revenues for the quarter reached $0.9 million, compared to $1.2 million in Q4 of 2014. In a statement announcing the quarter’s results, the company credited the reduction in revenues to lower royalty revenues from its older ID card software. Net loss for the quarter came in at $2.6 million, versus 2014’s Q4 net less of $1.9 million.

Commenting on the company’s present position, CEO Jim Miller pointed to ImageWare’s recent partnership with Aruba, an HPE company, which integrated ImageWare’s GoVerifyID biometric identity platform into its ClearPass security system, calling it a partnership that will “enable us to reach a large population on a global scale”. Miller also expressed enthusiasm about the growth of the biometric market more generally. “With the biometric space beginning to move into the mainstream, we believe that all the right pieces of the puzzle are in place for ImageWare to grow our business,” he said.

ImageWare CTO David Harding will be on hand to share this enthusiasm this Friday as he sits on the panel for FindBiometrics’ exclusive webinar, Mobile Revolution 2.0: Biometrics, Smartphones, IoT.
