Vivo X7 and X7 Plus Feature FPC Biometrics

July 5, 2016

Vivo X7 and X7 Plus Feature FPC Biometrics “As with so many other clients of FPC, Vivo is a repeat customer”

A repeat customer is once again proving to be a boon to Fingerprint Cards‘ business. China-based Vivo has integrated FPC’s fingerprint sensor technology into two new devices.

They’re called the X7 and the X7 Plus, and each features an FPC1245 sensor. It’s a sensor model that has proven popular lately, with other recent integrations in the OnePlus 3 and the OPPO A59.

As with so many other clients of FPC, Vivo is a repeat customer. Just this past April, the company integrated FPC technology into four different mobile devices, and its relationship with FPC stretches back to last autumn, at least.

These latest integrations help to further reinforce FPC’s leading position as a supplier of biometric fingerprint sensors to OEMs in the mobile market, even as the company explores new lines of business.

Fingerprint Cards has seen quite a few sensor integrations this month. Here is some further reading on the topic:
