“…Italy’s Banca Mediolanum has offered Apple Pay support for its Mediolanum Card customers, and Spain’s mobile bank N26 will enable Apple Pay support later in the year…”
Apple Pay is expanding its support among financial institutions in France, Italy, and Spain.
In France, Apple’s mobile payments platform will soon have the support of Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne, Crédit Mutuel du Sud-Ouest, and Crédit Mutuel Massif Central; and Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, those regional banks’ overarching bank, will also support Apple Pay on its Fortuneo and Max online banking services.
Meanwhile, Italy’s Banca Mediolanum has offered Apple Pay support for its Mediolanum Card customers, and Spain’s mobile bank N26 will enable Apple Pay support later in the year; Boon support has also arrived in Spain.
The new regional support arrives in the same week as a group of 21 banks and credit unions were added to Apple’s US roster of financial institution supporters.
