California-based Avatier has added ImageWare‘s GoVerifyID platform to its suite of enterprise identity management products. It’s a five-year agreement for which the companies expect to see sales beginning in Q4 of this year.
Offered through its Avatier Identity Management Suite (AIMS), Avatier’s offerings have been embraced by clients such as Starbucks, ING, Volkswagen, DHL, Marriott, and Nordstrom. As such, the deal could help ImageWare’s flagship multi-modal biometric identity management platform to reach big new clients.
In a statement announcing the arrangement, ImageWare CEO Jim Miller called Avatier “a pioneer and well respected leader in the Identity Governance and Administration industry and password management solution providers in the global IT industry,” adding that the company’s integration of GoVerifyID “aligns with our mission of securing the world”.
It’s partnerships like this one that Miller emphasized in ImageWare’s recent corporate update, suggesting that the company is on track to maintain its performance as it closes out the year.
