Samsung SDS America has teamed up with CA Technologies to upgrade its Nexsign biometric authentication platform with the latter’s API management solutions.
That makes Samsung SDS Nexsign the first biometric authentication system to be available through CA Mobile API Gateway, a solution offering enterprises a central management platform for the administration of mobile API policies. And that, in turn, will mean that customers using the CA API Management portfolio will be able to leverage Nexsign’s support for facial, fingerprint, iris, and voice recognition for user authentication.
In a statement announcing the integration, CA Technologies VP Kapil Lohia suggested that the move was a response to customer demand for “more frictionless security layers across mobile app and API management technologies”. Lohia added that CA Technologies in turn “considered a number of solutions” before ultimately selecting Nexsign and its biometric capabilities.
The companies are demonstrating how organizations can take advantage of Nexsign’s biometric authentication capabilities via the CA Mobile API Gateway at CA World ’17, which is underway this week in Las Vegas. And today, that event will feature a panel discussion on ‘Multi-faceted Security Options in Our Mobile World’ that will include insights from Samsung SDS America Enterprise Solutions VP Richard Lobovsky.
