A Fingerprint Cards fingerprint sensor is being used in another new device from Coolpad. The Coolpad Note 3S enables biometric scanning via an FPC1035.
It’s the same sensor model used in the Coolpad Note 5 announced earlier this autumn, and in Coolpad’s Max Lite smartphone announced this past spring. The company is evidently one of numerous smartphone OEMs that are satisfied enough with FPC’s biometric technology to become regular clients of the company.
It’s the second integration announcement for FPC this week, with the company having also revealed that its biometric technology is being used in a new device from OPPO. The announcements comes just ahead of FPC’s planned Capital Markets Day, at which it will reveal its 2017 outlook.
