Android Authority has named Letv’s Le Max Pro smartphone the “Best of CES 2016”.
It’s a considerable win for the company, given that it isn’t yet a household name around the world as a smartphone maker and this was its Consumer Electronics Show debut. Commenting on the accolade in a statement, Letv SVP Eric Mike said the company “couldn’t be more pleased”, adding that it “reflects all the hard work our team has put into making extraordinary products that create extraordinary experiences.”
The award is also a significant win for Qualcomm, whose Snapdragon 820 processor powers the device. Le Max Pro is the first device to feature the technology, with integrations planned for future Letv products.
Le Max Pro also features sophisticated fingerprint scanning technology that includes liveness detection, an aspect of the device that may have factored into Android Authority’s considerations about product quality and performance in choosing Letv for its award.
