BIO-key will unveil its Q1 results on Tuesday, May 15th, the company has announced. The fiscal report will be issued after market close.
In announcing the date for its quarterly update, BIO-key was of course tight-lipped about what it would entail. But it’s fair to expect some good news from the company: Its Q4 results showed a considerable jump in revenues and net income year over year, prompting BIO-key’s leadership to issue a revenue guidance of somewhere between $8 million and $12 million for 2018.
The company has also reported a number of new contracts over the course of the first quarter of 2018, kickstarting the year with an announcement of a contract from a government defense ministry, and proceeding to bring in contract wins in the manufacturing and banking sectors. That all suggests a continuation of BIO-key’s strong revenue trend as a growing number of organizations recognize the benefits, and even the necessity, of the kinds of biometric authentication solutions that BIO-key offers.
The company says it will follow the publication of its Q1 results with a conference call on Wednesday, May 16th, starting at 10:00 a.m. The call will be led by BIO-key CEO Mike DePasquale, COO Barbara Rivera, and CFO Cecilia Welch.
