The COVID-19 pandemic has altered the 2020 conference calendar, but the world’s leading tech companies are finding innovative ways to overcome the disruption. For example, BioConnect has put together its first Virtual Trade Show to fill in some of the scheduling gaps, with three days of programming set to kick off on March 18.
The decision to host a Virtual Trade Show was made after ISC West and Data Center World were postponed due to concerns about the coronavirus, and makes BioConnect one of several organizations trying to keep the security conversation moving forward during the pandemic. The company recently launched a new BioConnect Link solution, which allows enterprises to secure physical access points like vaults and doors with the same Zero Trust policies that they use to safeguard digital applications.
BioConnect will offer demonstrations of BioConnect Link during its Virtual Trade Show. The Unified Mobile Access solution is compatible with a number of third-party mobile authentication applications, including Duo Security, Ping Identity, and OKTA, in addition to its own BioConnect Mobile platform. The latter offers multiple biometric authentication options.
BioConnect has already updated its Unified Mobile Access platform to make it compatible with technology from the world’s leading access control manufacturers. Future updates will extend support to RSA SecureID and popular messaging platforms like Slack and WhatsApp.
“BioConnect continues to demonstrate innovative thought leadership,” said FindBiometrics President and CEO Peter O’Neill. “The launch of BioConnect Link creates a valuable product category for managing identities and access privileges throughout the enterprise.”
While ISC West has been rescheduled for July, BioConnect CEO Rob Douglas will be one of the executives participating in a podcast discussion that will be hosted on FindBiometrics’ ID Talk channel. That discussion was originally slated to be a live panel event in Las Vegas.
FindBiometrics is a premier partner of ISC West.
