Entrust Datacard has announced a new, cloud-based authentication service. Called IntelliTrust, it’s aimed at the enterprise sector, and is designed to turn smartphones into virtual smart cards for employees.
In a statement announcing the solution, Entrust Datacard said the service enables proximity-based authentication and digital signing, and that for authentication it supports “PKI and biometrics, as well as advanced device and behavioral analytics.” The company also emphasized the service’s adaptability for various needs, asserting that its “highly configurable parameters provides the flexibility to tailor and quickly deploy authentication solutions and meet evolving business requirements.”
Entrust Datacard is offering a free trial of the Intellitrust authentication service now, and offers a digital ROI calculator on its website for administrators curious to see how the service can help their organization save money.
