The Equals Group is the latest company to take advantage of TruNarrative’s onboarding and fraud prevention services. The Group is best known for running a number of different e-banking and payment brands, including Equals Money, FairFX, and CardOneMoney.
TruNarrative, meanwhile, offers software solutions that allow organizations to assess risk levels during the onboarding process. The company’s platform checks dozens of third-party data sources when someone signs up for a new account, and can determine whether or not someone is facing any sanctions or is otherwise on a list of politically exposed persons. In doing so, TruNarrative helps build trust between an organization and its customers, while allowing them to comply with the latest Know Your Customer and Know Your Business regulations.
The Equals Group selected TruNarrative because the company’s API offers support for multiple workflows, all of which can be customized to serve the needs of a specific brand. The solution creates an auditable record of onboarding events, and has been integrated into the Group’s core platform to provide coverage for its entire portfolio. Low risk cases can be approved automatically, while high risk ones can be referred to an agent for manual review.
“We are always on the lookout for tech solutions to help us deliver the best service possible to our clients,” said Equals Group COO Matthijs Boon. “Through TruNarrative, we can address an integral part of our customer’s journey and take it to the next level.”
“Our partnership with the Equals Group demonstrates our commitment to working with innovative, high-growth businesses,” added TruNarrative COO Ryan Morrison. “We look forward to helping them drive efficiency and maintain a low-friction customer experience.”
TruNarrative has already provided secure onboarding technology for several other financial institutions. The company partnered with the Swedish banking start-up Juni earlier this month, after previously forming similar arrangements with ikigai and Paragon Bank. In February, TruNarrative also launched a new identity verification platform designed for small business.
