IDEMIA Provides Metal Payment Card for Elite KFH Clients

April 15, 2019

IDEMIA Provides Metal Payment Card for Elite KFH Clients

The Kuwait Financial House (KFH) will be offering laser-engraved, one-of-a-kind metal payment cards to a select group of elite clients. The cards will be produced by IDEMIA, and have been designed with an eye towards status as much as security. In other words, the metal cards will only be given to KFH customers with a high net worth.

The metal card will be the first of its kind in Kuwait, and further solidifies the 18-year relationship between IDEMIA and KFH.

“Throughout our partnership, IDEMIA has supported KFH with proven and innovative technology so that we are able to deliver the most advanced and seamless banking experience to our customers,” said KFH Group General Manager Fadi Chalouhi.

“As a market leader in metal cards, IDEMIA strives to provide our clients with high-quality products that reflect their commitment to end-customers – including a deep and active involvement in the card’s design,” added Julia Schoonenberg, IDEMIA’s Senior Vice President for the Middle East and Africa.

IDEMIA has been expanding the scope of its business in the Middle East after forming a partnership with MasterCard to encourage mobile payments in the region. The company has long been recognized as one of the leading innovators in the smart card space.
