“In announcing its attendance at Money20/20 Asia, IDEX also noted that an Asia-based bank began trialing an IDEX-powered biometric payment card from Feitian toward the end of last year.”

Money20/20 Asia has been underway in Singapore this week, and it’s an event that IDEX was sure to attend.
And for good reason: IDEX has been intensifying its focus on China in recent months, particularly with respect to its developing biometric payment card business. In November IDEX teamed up with China UnionPay-certified card maker Chutian Dragon Co. and Secure Element specialist CEC Huada Electronic Design Co.; in December it announced a partnership with Shenzhen-based Excelsecu; and in January IDEX teamed up with Goldpac Group.
In announcing its attendance at Money20/20 Asia, IDEX also noted that an Asia-based bank began trialing an IDEX-powered biometric payment card from Feitian toward the end of last year.
Accordingly, IDEX Sales Director Hunter Hu is on-hand this week in Singapore, showcasing IDEX’s biometric solutions, and its fingerprint scanning technology for dual-interface payment cards in particular. There is considerable buzz over this emerging technology, with major financial institutions preparing for large-scale launches, so Money20/20 Asia offers a significant opportunity to capitalize on that excitement.
The event kicked off on Tuesday, March 19th, and concludes today.
