“IDEX suggested it would highlight its IDX3200 fingerprint sensor for dual-interface smart cards, and its IDX3410 solution…”
IDEX is hoping to capitalize on excitement over biometric smart cards at the upcoming 2018 Money20/20 Europe exhibition in Amsterdam.
With its focus on FinTech, the event is likely to buzz with excitement over biometric payment cards in particular, which are starting to emerge in a big way as numerous companies reach advanced stages of their technological development and major financial services players like Visa and Mastercard assess the results of real world trials. For its part, IDEX has a strong partnership with the latter, for which it recently developed a self-enrolment solution for fingerprint scanning payment cards; and just last week IDEX announced a major new trial of its biometric card technology getting underway in the Middle East.
In a statement announcing its planned presence for Money20/20 Europe, IDEX suggested it would highlight its IDX3200 fingerprint sensor for dual-interface smart cards, and its IDX3410 solution, which it described as “a complete biometric system which enables a fingerprint image to be captured and matched against an enrolled template stored within the card.” Several members of the company’s executive leadership will be in attendance during the event, including new CEO Stan Swearingen, CFO Henrik Knudtzon, Product Management VP Brian Roberts, Product Management Director Jerome Chavanel, and new Sales and Marketing SVP David Orme.
Money20/20 Europe is scheduled to run from June 4th to June 6th at the RAI, with IDEX slated to showcase its solutions from stand G32.
