ImageWare Systems Inc., a biometric identity management solutions provider, has announced a new partnership with CA Technologies. The partnership will see ImageWare’s GoVerifyID technology integrated into CA’s enterprise identity-management applications through its Tech Partner Program, in which ImageWare will be an Advanced Partner.
The GoVerifyID product is based on ImageWare’s Biometric Engine 2.0, and will be used in the CA Identity Manager, CA Single Sign-On, and CA Advanced Authentication applications. While the full details have not yet been announced, ImageWare says in a press release that these can be “delivered on premise or as a service,” and its CEO Jim Miller asserts that he and his team “look forward to providing further details about the program following its commercialization later this quarter.”
ImageWare has been on a bit of a roll lately in this area, securing contracts with Fujitsu and TransUnion.
We’ve also seen similar partnerships emerge recently in the case of EyeLock and MorphoTrust, and in IDEX’s teaming with a major manufacturer – all cases in which biometrics developers have sought partners to deliver their technology into a larger enterprise or application.
