“We are excited to integrate, distribute and support the industry’s best of breed platform for multi-factor biometrics with ImageWare.” – Nobuhiro Suemasa, CEO, TwoFive, Inc.
A new partner could help ImageWare to extend its market presence in Japan.
Called TwoFive, Inc., the Tokyo-based firm offers security solutions to Japan’s service provider industry. Thanks to its partnership with ImageWare, the firm will now be able to offer its clients GoVerifyID, ImageWare’s multi-factor biometric authentication platform.
In a statement announcing the partnership, ImageWare Global Sales and Marketing VP David Somerville framed it as an example of his company’s “expanding commitment to the Japanese and Asia Pacific markets”, adding that ImageWare had recently opened a new office in Tokyo and appointed a Japan-based VP of Sales for Asia Pacific.
TwoFive, Inc. CEO Nobuhiro Suemasa, meanwhile, gestured to the evolving security landscape. “Continued breaches in enterprises of all sizes shows that the Japanese market continues to be exploited and the only way to secure these assets is by identifying the user at the time of authentication or transaction through multi-factor biometrics,” he said. “We are excited to integrate, distribute and support the industry’s best of breed platform for multi-factor biometrics with ImageWare.”
