OmniShop is partnering with IPification to help e-commerce providers verify the identities of their customers. The OmniShop platform automates several aspects of the app development process, and allows web shops and other businesses to bring custom-branded mobile experiences to the market more quickly.
IPification, meanwhile, will ensure that those apps remain secure. The partnership will give OmniShop’s clients access to IPification’s one-click phone verification service, which ensures that the phone being used during the interaction does in fact belong to the person on the end of the line. The service will help businesses meet their Know Your Customer obligations during onboarding, and give end users an easy way to authorize subsequent transactions.
OmniShop built several mobile storefronts on its own before deciding to launch its automated service. IPification’s technology is expected to prevent fraud and boost conversion and retention rates for digital businesses.
“Removing obstacles and simplifying the user experience is what matters to our clients,” said OmniShop CEO Dusan Popovic. “Finding the right partners to provide added value to the users of our apps is not always easy.”
“We’re proud to onboard a partner that realizes the value of user-centric product development with the goal of providing frictionless user experiences,” added IPification CEO Stefan Kostic. “With an ideology similar to that of IPification, OmniShop is the perfect match for us.”
IPification recently delivered mobile fraud prevention services for ABA Bank in Cambodia, in a deal that builds on the company’s existing partnership with the mobile operator Smart Axiata. The company has also partnered with Metfone, which is Cambodia’s other major mobile operator, and now offers identity coverage for 98 percent of the country’s mobile market.
In the meantime, IPification is starting to make inroads in the European market. The company expanded to the UK and Switzerland in the first few months of 2021.
