Deloitte has listed iProov as the fifth-fastest growing technology company in the United Kingdom. The designation is based on iProov’s performance in the past four years, during which the company has displayed a revenue growth rate of 6,351 percent.
iProov is best known for its Genuine Presence and Liveness Assurance technologies, which enable passive liveness detection for facial recognition systems. The company has customers in the public and private sector, with a client list that includes NHS, the UK Home Office, the US Department of Homeland Security, and the government of Singapore. The DHS partnership concerns a border screening pilot, while Singapore is using the tech in its SingPass digital ID program.
The Deloitte UK Technology Fast 50 list was set up to recognize the accomplishments of the country’s leading technology providers. The companies on the list generated roughly £2.2bn in revenue in the 2019/2020 year, and collectively employed more than 10,400 people. iProov itself made it to the top five in the 23rd iteration of the list.
“The need for online identity verification is greater than ever before,” said iProov CEO and Founder Andrew Bud. “iProov is supporting an ever-increasing number of businesses and governments around the world, who are using biometric authentication to give customers and citizens secure, simple access to digital services.”
Acuant and Evernym are some of the biometric providers that have integrated iProov’s liveness detection tech into their own facial recognition platforms.
