Jumio is celebrating yet more award wins. The company has announced that it was named a “Hot Company in Fraud Prevention” in the 2018 InfoSec Awards, and that its Netverify platform won “Best Product in Biometrics”.
Organized by Cyber Defense Magazine, the InfoSec Awards are aimed at recognizing innovative information security companies and their solutions. Commenting on Jumio’s performance in the awards, Cyber Defense Magazine publisher Gary S. Miliefsky said, “They won after we reviewed nearly 3,000 infosec companies, globally, because they are an innovator on a mission to help stop breaches and get one step ahead of the next threat, proactively.”
Netverify, Jumio’s flagship solution, is designed to leverage facial recognition and document reading to remotely verify the identities of end users, all through the kinds of cameras found on everyday laptops and smartphones. As such, it has proven highly popular in the growing digital authentication market, and has won numerous industry plaudits, including being named “Best Authentication Technology” in the recently announced 2018 SC Awards.
Commenting on the InfoSec Awards announced during this year’s RSA Conference, Jumio CEO Stephen Stuut said his company is “honored” to receive them.
