Jumio has added another trophy to its mantle. The digital security company has received a 2019 BIG Innovation Award from the Business Intelligence Group, an accolade that follows the two Golden Bridge Awards and two Cyber Defense Awards that Jumio won in 2018.
“We are thrilled to be honoring Jumio,” said Maria Jimenez, the COO of the Business Intelligence Group. “They are leading by example and making real progress on improving the daily lives of so many.”
Jumio received the award for its pioneering technology in the fields of augmented intelligence, machine learning, and identity verification. The company’s highly accurate authentication solution makes it easier for partners to open new customer accounts, and can reduce the time needed for a transaction by as much as 10 percent. It also helps to combat fraud, which remains an ongoing concern after a particularly perilous holiday season.
“In today’s digitally-driven economy, businesses are conducting more transactions online and companies must be able to verify that a person’s real identity matches their online identity,” said Stephen Stuut, the CEO of Jumio, adding that Jumio AI Labs was founded to improve the accuracy and speed of the company’s platform in 2018. The BIG Innovation Award is simply another benchmark as Jumio tries to make online interactions safer for businesses and consumers.
