Jumio Takes Home a Pair of Stevies at the American Business Awards

Jumio is back on the podium in its ongoing 2019 awards campaign. The company picked up two prizes at the 17th annual American Business Awards, grabbing a Silver Stevie and a Bronze Stevie in the Most Innovative and Fastest Growing Tech Company categories, respectively.

The American Business Awards were created to honor American organizations spread across all sectors of the economy. Jumio was recognized for its innovative identity verification technology and a banner year that saw dramatic spikes in its year-over-year sales (70 percent) and customer base (60 percent).

“Our momentous growth demonstrates the demand for more reliable digital identity verification solutions,” said Jumio President Robert Prigge. “To stay ahead of the fraud curve, Jumio has made innovation a priority by investing in emerging technologies, such as AI, augmented intelligence and machine learning.”

The two Stevies add to Jumio’s extraordinary 2019 awards haul, which already includes a BIG Innovation Award and a BIG Artificial Intelligence Excellence Award, as well as a quartet of Cybersecurity Excellence trophies. Fast Company also named Jumio as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies.

Since then, Jumio has given every indication that it plans to build on that success, most notably with the opening of a new sales office in Brazil that will extend its reach in the Latin American market.
