The industry accolades continue for Jumio, whose Netverify authentication solution has won the Overall ID Management Solution of the Year Award in the 2018 CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards.
In a statement announcing its award win, Jumio noted that this year’s CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards attracted over 3,000 nominations from around the world, suggesting that it faced some stiff competition. Of course, its Netverify solution, which relies primarily on facial recognition and document reading for selfie-based remote authentication, has already received a great deal of acclaim in the form of other industry awards and plaudits, so it’s little surprise to see it attain a top ranking once again.
Commenting on this latest bit of recognition, Jumio CEO Stephen Stuut laid out a sort of mission statement. “Increasingly, businesses are undergoing digital transformations and looking for ways to reliably protect their ecosystems,” he explained. “We work very hard to create safeguards to protect those ecosystems by deterring fraud while, at the same time, simplifying the user experience—empowering organizations to protect and build trust with their customers.”
Indeed, Jumio’s efforts have been recognized not only by industry experts, but also by the enterprise market, with Jumio having reported its best sales quarter to date in its Q2 update this summer. The company is also parrying that success to further technological innovation, announcing last month that it was opening a new AI research lab in Montreal.
