Digital Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding technology provider HooYu has announced the launch of new UI and UX tools that aim to help regulated companies perform more seamless and successful KYC checks.
The updates released by HooYu follow months of testing with companies in the banking, online gambling, and FinTech markets in search of the right balance between KYC compliance and a streamlined and frictionless customer onboarding experience.

Research from HooYu’s testing revealed that 85% of the FinTech and e-money providers consulted said that the number-one avenue to attracting new customers is a more effective customer onboarding experience, a process which currently sees a 26 percent drop-off rate on average.
The new UI is designed to give potential customers greater choice in their onboarding experience, based on how technologically savvy they are.
For businesses, the new UX offers more customizable options, allowing banks and FinTechs to edit icons, buttons, fonts, and brand colors, while also having the option to add custom messages.
