Jumio Powers Account Recovery on NNL’s Authentication Platform

May 21, 2019

“The companies emphasized the S3 Suite’s support for multiple different account recovery methods, allowing end customers to configure their policies according to their particular needs and preferences.”

Nok Nok Adds Jumio-Powered Account Recovery to Authentication Platform

Nok Nok Labs has integrated Jumio technology into its S3 Suite biometric authentication platform, enabling new account recovery options.

While Jumio is best known for its selfie-based authentication solution, which combines facial recognition and document reading technologies for strong biometric identity confirmation, in announcing their collaboration, Jumio and Nok Nok Labs explained that it means end users of the S3 Suite can now “leverage the integrations of email- and SMS-based one-time passcode (OTP)” for account recovery.

The companies emphasized the S3 Suite’s support for multiple different account recovery methods, allowing end customers to configure their policies according to their particular needs and preferences.

“Strong authentication needs strong recovery as well as a policy-based approach that allows for different combinations of recovery methods,” explained Nok Nok Labs product management director Santosh Rajvaidya. “We are pleased to be able to offer customers even more choice in their authentication and recovery methodology as the Nok Nok S3 Suite now integrates with Jumio’s Identity Verification solution.”

The news comes just a week after Jumio’s announcement that its identity verification solutions had been integrated into the TruNarrative anti-fraud platform, suggesting that the company is an increasingly popular partner for enterprise-focused authentication platforms.
