“In the era of mobility, smart devices and BYOD, having strong enterprise security is of paramount importance and with this new integration NoPassword will make it easier for end users to securely login to BlackBerry Dynamics.” -Yaser Madoudnia, CEO, NoPassword
NoPassword has delivered its authentication app to the BlackBerry Marketplace, allowing BlackBerry Dynamics users to replace passwords on their devices with biometric authentication based on facial, fingerprint, or voice recognition, or by using on-screen pattern entry.
In a statement announcing the integration into BlackBerry’s enterprise-focused development platform, BlackBerry Chief Marketing Officer Mark Wilson explained, “By leveraging the new NoPassword for BlackBerry app, our shared global customers will enjoy stronger security and a better user experience.”
NoPassword CEO Yaser Madoudnia, meanwhile, emphasized the need for new approaches to security as a growing number of mobile devices are used in the enterprise. “In the era of mobility, smart devices and BYOD, having strong enterprise security is of paramount importance and with this new integration NoPassword will make it easier for end users to securely login to BlackBerry Dynamics,” he said.
BlackBerry Marketplace isn’t the first enterprise platform to embrace NoPassword’s solution: It was also integrated into the ForgeRock Identity Platform toward the end of last year.
