Identity verification specialist Socure has announced that its real-time predictive analytics platform Socure ID+ is now publicly available via the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace.
This means that AWS customers are now able to purchase Socure’s Sigma Identity Fraud, Sigma Synthetic Fraud, and Document Verification (DocV) directly from their AWS account.
“Many of today’s fintechs are cloud native and a number of them turn to AWS to build their business in a secure cloud environment,” said Socure Chief Revenue Officer Rhon Daguro. “Our availability in AWS Marketplace is a natural evolution for us to make it easier for our customers, including over 100 of the largest and most successful fintechs, to grow their businesses at scale and minimize identity fraud.”
The AWS Marketplace is an online store for independent software vendors that is meant to make it easier for AWS customers to find and compare services that run on AWS.
Now that Socure’s identity verification and fraud risk solutions are available to AWS customers, they can be added with a single payment, potentially simplifying the accounting and admin processes for businesses.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the related rise in remote work, the need for remote identity and document verification solutions like those offered by Socure has grown dramatically. Similarly, the rise in online activity has led to growth in cybercrime, making fraud risk solutions more important than ever before.
This news comes only a few months after Socure announced it had secured $35 million in its latest funding round, biringing its total thus far to an impressive $96 million.
