Organizers of this week’s TRUSTECH security conference have announced the finalists for this year’s SESAMES Awards, which are bestowed “to the best innovations in the fields of payments, identification, digital security and wireless technologies,” according to a statement.
In the field of Cybersecurity, one of the three finalists is a company specializing in biometric authentication, BioSSL. Another biometrics specialist, MeReal Biometrics, appears as one of the three finalists in the area of eTransactions; and in the category of eGovernment, Vision-Box, with its automated, biometric airport screening technology is one of the top competitors.
Meanwhile, in its statement TRUSTECH also lauded Flexenable and Innovatrics as exemplary companies working in biometrics, which it called one of the fields in which “innovation is particularly impressive”. The six SESAMES Award winners will be announced on November 29th, the first day of the conference.
