Security is key in recent announcement from Verint Systems Inc. regarding new enhancements to its Situational Awareness Platform and Enterprise Video Management (VMS) solutions. The upgrades were made in an effort to add new features supporting the companies mission-critical security initiatives to anticipate and address emerging risks that affect employees, corporate data, infrastructure assets, and business interests.
With Verint’s Situational Awareness Platform users can analyze and correlate data from a variety of channels including video surveillance, access control, building management and video analytics (including facial recognition) to ensure a more comprehensive approach to security and helping to identify potential threats.
In the event of a network outage Verint Enterprise VMS is able to retrieve video from a camera’s SD card adding to the solutions storage-on-the-edge capabilities, and also offers video overlays to provide more detailed information to security operators.
“We’re spearheading the development of intelligent solutions that allow customers to gather crucial insights to anticipate, respond and act in ways that advance their strategic efforts,” says Alan Stoddard, Verint’s vice president and general manager, situational intelligence solutions. “These latest enhancements to our core platform significantly advance those efforts as we continue on the path to delivering compelling, next-generation solutions for today’s intelligent security operations centers.”
Vernit will be exhibiting during ISC West 2018 where FindBiometrics and Mobile ID World will be reporting live throughout the conference.
