“…FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill will host the track session “The power of choice: Why multimodal biometrics are taking over FinTech”, with big-name participants…”
The organizers of Money20/20 Europe have announced the event’s agenda, and FindBiometrics will be right in the middle of the action.
Like many successful endeavors, the event will start with a good breakfast, at 8:00am on Monday, June 26th. General sessions will follow at 9:00am, and the exhibition hall will open at 10:00am. Over the following days, track session topics will range from “Adventures in AI: Use cases in financial services” to “The growth of in-app payments & social commerce”.
And then there’s biometrics. At 11:20am on the final day of the event, Wednesday, June 28th, FindBiometrics President Peter O’Neill will host the track session “The power of choice: Why multimodal biometrics are taking over FinTech”, with big-name participants including Safran Identity & Security’s Oliver Méaux, BioConnect’s Rob Douglas, and FacePhi’s Javier Mira — three of the biggest names in the field — as well as Jonathan Vaux of Visa and Craig Ramsay of HSBC.
This will be the second year in a row that FindBiometrics brings biometrics expertise to Money20/20 Europe, with last year’s panel discussion having generated a lot of buzz, and a subsequent discussion at Money20/20 in Las Vegas having drawn a sold-out crowd so large that fire marshals had to close off the entrance. Biometric technology has only grown in importance in the ensuing months, with banks deploying voice recognition systems and mobile payment service providers exploring new modalities beyond the fingerprint scanning used in Apple Pay and Samsung Pay, so it’s fair to expect even more excitement at this year’s Money20/20 Europe.
