“It’s the latest of a number of partner integrations for ImageWare’s GoVerifyID, bringing to Aruba ClearPass the advantages of biometric security.”
Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, has announced a new enterprise connectivity solutions portfolio featuring an upgraded ClearPass security system that now includes biometric multi-factor authentication care of ImageWare technology.
Aruba’s new portfolio includes Aruba Clarity, a system for anticipating and resolving connectivity issues via the Aruba AirWave platform; and enhanced communications technologies for WiFi, Microsoft Skype for Business, and the like; as well as HPE client services for integrating and optimizing Aruba solutions. But the ClearPass Policy Manager is the major security component of the portfolio, and the new version 6.6 has integrated ImageWare’s GoVerifyID biometric identity platform.
It’s the latest of a number of partner integrations for ImageWare’s GoVerifyID, bringing to Aruba ClearPass the advantages of biometric security. Commenting in a statement, Aruba ClearPass GM Vinay Anand asserted that bringing biometric multi-factor authentication to ClearPass “reinforces Aruba’s leadership in security and NAC management.” Meanwhile, ImageWare CEO Jim Miller said the integration “adds an unsurpassed level of identity assurance and security to wired and wireless networks.”
As businesses face increasingly sophisticated digital threats, the integration of biometric security should help to make Aruba ClearPass that much more appealing as a security solution.
