Gemalto has a new client for its SensorLogic Application Enablement Platform, the company has announced. The cloud-based solution is designed to collect data from any connected device, and will now be used by industrial Internet of Things solutions provider Aware360 to launch new services and products.
It appears to be an ideal pairing. Gemalto bills SensorLogic as “an ideal solution for companies offering or developing M2M cloud services and analytics programs.” Aware360, meanwhile, aims to offer a control center for clients seeking to leverage industrial IoT data.
Commenting in a statement, Aware360 Sales & Marketing VP Paul Turner explained that SensorLogic is “perfectly suited to meet our goal of simplifying industrial IoT,” allowing clients to “shorten development times”.
The integration is another illustration of the growing excitement over the industrial Internet of Things, with major companies such as Fujitsu and Windows now busily working on their own solutions. For its part, Gemalto has been active preparing for the IoT more broadly, such as by organizing last year’s IoT-focused LicensingLive! conference.
