Customer interaction technology developer Enacomm, Inc., has announced that it will be teaming up with voice biometrics company VoiceVault at this year’s PAYMENTS conference in New Orleans. The two companies will be presenting together on the role of voice biometrics in payments, and will participate in a panel entitled, “Voice Biometrics in Payments: When, Where, How?”, with VoiceVault moderating.
The companies also plan to demonstrate Enacomm Voice Authentication, a voice biometric authentication system. In a statement, the companies explained that it’s “an application that enables reliable log-in and transactional authentication of customers from any phone, any time.” Enacomm CEO Michael Boukadakis, who will be participating in the panel discussion, further elaborated on the growing importance of voice biometrics in this field, calling it “a critical piece of the payments security puzzle.”
In its efforts to explore voice biometrics, Enacomm has picked a good partner. VoiceVault joined the FIDO Alliance early last year, and has since since expanded its presence in the voice biometrics industry. The company proceeded to launch a mobile voice biometrics system that summer, and incorporated Mandarin language functionality into its technology as well. With their new partnership, VoiceVault and Enacomm should be able to further extend their brand as they present to the attendees of PAYMENTS 2015.
