Eye vein biometrics company EyeVerify has found a new distributor for its Eyeprint ID technology, the company has announced. Olcsan CAD Technology now has exclusive re-seller rights in Turkey.
Olcsan has a wealth of experience in the fields of biometrics, digital security, mobile solutions, and more. As such, it could prove to be a valuable partner in the Turkish market; in a statement announcing the partnership, EyeVerify CEO Toby Rush said Olcsan’s “expertise in implementation across numerous vertical markets will be invaluable in generating marketing adoption for Eyeprint ID.”
The two companies have also embarked on a customer service project together with Vodafone Turkey: Vodafone Cep Cüzdan, Vodafone’s mobile wallet app, will now allow users to log in via eye-based authentication, replacing their old password-based login systems.
EyeVerify has been very busy in the financial services and mobile markets lately. Earlier this month, its biometric authentication technology was integrated into the Mountain America Credit Union app, and earlier this year the company made an agreement to bring its Eyeprint ID technology to the many mobile apps of Digital Insight’s clients in the financial services sector. Given its activity in these mobile financial services platforms, the Vodafone mobile wallet integration appears to be another logical step forward in this area, while the partnership with Olcsan could foster further opportunities going forward.
