“Jumio’s innovative identity verification technology enables us to provide our customers with a strong, trusted proposition that fits smoothly alongside our existing TrustCloud solution.” – Maria J. Hernández, Spain & LATAM General Director, Branddocs
Jumio could see a significant expansion in Latin America thanks to a new partnership. The company has announced that its Netverify Trusted Identity as a Service solution will be integrated into Branddocs’ TrustCloud solution and marketed to the latter’s client network in the LATAM region and Spain.
The integration means that in addition to the eSignature and face biometrics capabilities already built into TrustCloud, Branddocs’ solution will support the mobile facial recognition and document reading capabilities of Netverify. In a statement announcing the collaboration, Branddocs Spain & LATAM General Director Maria J. Hernández said, “Jumio’s innovative identity verification technology enables us to provide our customers with a strong, trusted proposition that fits smoothly alongside our existing TrustCloud solution.”

Latin America could be a growing hotspot in the biometrics industry, with UMANICK having opened a new office in Colombia at the end of last year and Credence ID having announced a new Mexico City office this spring. The mobile biometric authentication technology of Spain-based FacePhi has also been catching on in the region. For its part, New York-based Branddocs has some major Spanish and LATAM clients including Banco Santander and BBVA, which should prove Jumio with some important opportunities thanks to the TrustCloud integration.
