Dubai’s Mohammed Bin Rashin Housing Establishment (MRHE) has upgraded its facilities to be compatible with HID Global’s HID Mobile Access solution.
The move means that MRHE employees can use both Seos smart cards and mobile devices – via HID Mobile Access – to gain access to the company’s offices. In a statement announcing the deployment, MRHE Smart Services Department Director Talal Al Ali said that enabling the use of smartphones and even wearables for access control “has helped provide a convenient, secure and user-friendly experience to our employees.”
The technology was deployed in collaboration with EPM Systems & Solutions, which acted as the local integrator. Commenting on the project, EPM Sales and Marketing Director Hadi Omer praised the adaptability of HID’s solution, asserting that it “integrated perfectly into MRHE’s credentials management platform,” and that “[t]he ease of installation allowed us to deploy the solution speedily.”
The deployment suggests growing interest in HID’s Mobile Access solution, which was integrated into Honeywell Building Solutions’ Honeywell Vector Occupant App last autumn, and deployed at the head office of Star India in Mumbai earlier this year.
