RSA has extended the compatibility of its SecurID Access solution.
The solution is now interoperable with the CyberArk Privileged Account Security Solution, allowing administrators to control access to privileged accounts with multi-factor authentication. MFA can also be applied at the network level thanks to new interoperability between RSA SecurID Access and the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Firewall. And administrators working with VMware’s Workspace ONE digital workspace solution can now help to secure access to such assets with RSA SecurID Access’s compatibility as well.
But the most impactful new compatibility may be RSA SecurAccess’s support for Windows Hello, the authentication system built into Windows 10. Organizations that take advantage of this interoperability will enable staff to access their Windows devices just by bringing their paired Android or iOS devices in close proximity.
RSA SecurID Access’s interoperability enhancements arrive after the platform was upgraded earlier this year to enable cloud-based identity verification, among other enhancements; and soon after the platform was made compatible with Microsoft Azure Active Directory Premium this past September.
