“Sensory has also enhanced its liveness detection algorithms to the point of “nearly eliminating” the possibility of spoofing with photos or video, according to a statement from the company.”
Sensory has upgraded its TrulySecure biometric authentication platform.
The company says the system, which is designed to identify subjects based on a combination of facial and voice recognition, can now more effectively identify users when their faces are partially obstructed by things like glasses. Sensory has also enhanced its liveness detection algorithms to the point of “nearly eliminating” the possibility of spoofing with photos or video, according to a statement from the company.
Elaborating on the improvements, Sensory CEO Todd Mozer said the company has enhanced its “deep learning convolutional neural nets to improve accuracy more than 50%”.
The update comes after TrulySecure was added to the solutions portfolio of digital security solutions provider InnerCore near the start of the year, and after VeriTran adopted the technology last autumn. With multimodal biometrics now more popular than ever, TrulySecure’s improvements could find additional new clients eager to take advantage of the technology.
