Aware’s mobile authentication technology is on display at this year’s Celaes LATAM conference in Miami, Florida. The event kicked off on June 20 at the Trump National Doral Miami, and will wrap up today.
During that time, guests can visit Aware at Booth 17 to learn more about the company’s award-winning Knomi Authentication platform. As the name would suggest, the Celaes LATAM conference is geared toward organizations in the Latin American market, giving financial institutions in the region a chance to look at the latest cybersecurity technologies. That tech can then be used to strengthen the security of their own financial operations.
On that front, Aware’s Knomi platform supports the use of both face and voice recognition on mobile devices. Both modalities are backed up with passive liveness detection to prevent spoofing, and to ensure that a real customer is present during sessions with a bank. Knomi can be used for onboarding and follow-up authentication, and serves as a form of passwordless identity verification.
“Financial companies have been beset with a number of fraud and cybersecurity challenges in recent years as the rate of mobile banking continues to grow,” said Aware CCO Rob Mungovan. “Aware provides them with a highly fraud-resistant authentication solution to these threats that is simple and easy for customers to use, and we have seen a great deal of success in the Latin American region as a result. We are excited to participate in the Celaes LATAM event and share our cutting-edge solutions with its attendees.”
Aware recently celebrated a pair of successes in Mexico and Brazil, where it is helping two banks protect 55 million customers and more than $400 billion in total assets. Guests at Celaes LATAM will be able to speak with Aware representatives, see a product demo, and get a sneak peek at one of Aware’s upcoming authentication solutions. Aware also showcased its wares at the ID4Africa event earlier in the month.
