Jumio has once again walked away with an armful of prizes at the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. The company took home a total of three awards, including a gold medal for AI Security and a silver medal for Fraud Prevention. It also took home a second gold medal in the Fastest Growing Company category for companies with 1,000-4,999 employees.
The first two accolades were handed out in recognition of Jumio Authentication, which debuted in early 2019. Jumio Authentication is a mobile onboarding platform that uses face and document recognition to verify the identities of new users.
The third prize, meanwhile, acknowledges Jumio’s astonishing growth in the past year. The company nearly doubled its year-over-year revenues, thanks in large part to the popularity of the Jumio Authentication platform, which has been widely adopted by banks and other financial services providers.
The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards are presented by Cybersecurity Insiders and the Information Security Community on LinkedIn, which has more than 400,000 members. Jumio took home gold medals for AI Security, Fraud Prevention, and Fastest Growing Company at last year’s awards, making Jumio a repeat winner in all three categories in 2020.
The company also took home a silver for Identity and Access Management in 2019.
“Congratulations to Jumio for being recognized as both a gold and silver winner in the 2020 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards,” said Cybersecurity Insiders CEO Holger Schulze. “With over 500 entries in more than 90 award categories, the 2020 awards truly reflect the best in today’s cybersecurity industry.”
“We’re honored our efforts are validated by explosive company growth and distinguished recognition by the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards,” added Jumio CEO Robert Prigge.
Of course, the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards are not the only trophies on Jumio’s mantle. The company recently picked up its second consecutive BIG Innovation Award, and was the only multinational organization to make BIG’s list of Best Places to Work.
