Onfido has created an international partner program in an effort to find new applications for its identity verification technology. The Onfido Partner Program currently includes major players like IDEMIA, ForgeRock, Checkr, and iovation, while Visa has made Onfido’s selfie authentication solution available on its marketplace.

The Partner Program will allow its members to consolidate their marketing efforts, helping them find and retain new customers by offering more robust solutions that incorporate Onfido technology. The collaboration will make it easier to integrate that tech – which matches a selfie against an official photo ID – into existing onboarding and fraud prevention schemes.

“Together, we deliver four core benefits to our clients: expanding the reach of our joint offerings, minimizing friction, identifying fraud and upholding privacy,” said iovation VP Ed Wu.

The companies in the Onfido Partner Program will be filtered into one of four different channels based on their classification as technology resellers, commercial resellers, system integrators, or members of the referral program. The Partner Program will further Onfido’s recent expansion efforts in Europe and elsewhere, and will also solidify the company’s relationships with IDEMIA and Checkr. Both companies formed alliances with Onfido earlier in 2019.
