“IDBX is a customizable hardware and software bundle that allows companies to capture and encode biometric information and then use it to print their own biometric smart cards.”
CardLogix is following up on the announcement of its new IDBX Biometric Smart Card Issuance System with a live demonstration at ID4Africa in Johannesburg. The company is partnering with Fulcrum Biometrics for the demonstration, which is being set up to showcase the speed and utility of the IDBX system for ID4Africa guests.
IDBX is a customizable hardware and software bundle that allows companies to capture and encode biometric information and then use it to print their own biometric smart cards. According to CardLogix, the system can register a new user and provide them with a credential in a matter of minutes, making it much cheaper and faster to implement than the alternatives.
“Having a working off-the-shelf solution that can be delivered, demonstrated, and used right away is invaluable to those that need to get their systems up and running fast and cost-effectively,” said CardLogix Sales Director Tom Hope. “We’re looking forward to demonstrating how quickly biometric smart cards can be issued at ID4Africa.”
ID4Africa attendees can find IDBX at booth B19, where CardLogix will be offering complimentary smart card luggage tags as part of the demonstration. They will also be able to check out the new BIOSID tablet, a mobile identification solution that is compatible with the IDBX smart cards.
