Credit unions are rapidly introducing the same AI-driven solutions that banks and credit card companies use to make financial services more convenient. Or at least, that’s the takeaway from a newly announced reseller arrangement between ENACOMM and Wescom Resource Group (WRG), a credit union technology specialist.
According to the agreement, ENACOMM’s credit union clients will have access to WRG’s Symmetry eBanking platform, while WRG’s clients will gain access to ENACOMM’s voice-activated Virtual Personal Assistant. The VPA is an AI-driven platform that allows users to perform secure financial transactions with simple spoken commands, and is the same voice-based solution that ENACOMM provides to banks and other companies in the financial sector.
“Research shows that people are integrating voice assistants into their daily lives,” said ENACOMM CEO Michael Boukadakis. “Banking will soon play an even greater role as consumers turn to their devices to manage their finances.”
“Today’s consumers are embracing modern technology and their expectations are evolving to include the convenience that comes with these advancements,” added WRG President Kevin Sarber. “Integrating ENACOMM’s premier conversational voice banking technology with Symmetry eBanking will help our clients stay ahead of the curve.”
The VPA is compatible with voice assistants like Google Home and Alexa, with ENACOMM and WRG both making the case that conversational banking is safer and faster for credit union clients.
