Germany’s G+D Mobile Security and California-based Danal, Inc. are teaming up to show off their online authentication solutions at the inaugural Mobile World Congress Americas.
In a statement, the companies said their solutions assess biographic data and ID documents against “biometric and forensic validation points”. Among the sources of user data is the Mobile Connect, the GSMA’s flagship identification service, which will be showcased with live demos at MWC’s Innovation City. Together with the other data points used by G+D and Danal, it allows for an authentication process that is “as strong, if not stronger, than in-person checks,” according to a statement from the companies.
The companies also emphasized their solutions’ compliance with regulations including the European Union’s PSD2 and GDPR regulations, and the US’s Customer Identification Program.
G+D and Danal are showing off their solutions at booth N.442 during MWC Americas, which runs from September 12th to 14th in San Francisco.
