Trustonic has found a market partner for its Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) technology. Good Technology will employee Trustonic’s TEE solution in its Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform.
This marks the Trustonic’s first entry into the EMM market. The company’s use of Intercede’s over-the-air remote activation and biometric-ready features in its TEE system, along with the company’s Trusted User interface, help to make it an appealing means of securing corporate networks and devices – an increasingly valuable service as more companies adopt BYOD policies and the new security vulnerabilities they entail.
In a statement, Trustonic CTO Jon Geater explained that the use of his company’s TEE solution “makes Good-secured apps even better for enterprise customers wishing to go about their business as easily as possible without compromising on security.” Meanwhile, Good Technology’s CTO, Nicko van Someren, asserted, “With the Good TEE solution, we’re combining best-in-class solutions that make the management of Android devices easier for IT while concurrently increasing security with a simpler user experience.”
It’s another step forward in what has been a productive year for Trustonic. In February, the company forged a deal to have its TEE technology integrated into Meizu mobile devices, and at the start of the year TEE struck a partnership with IDEX ASA to implement the latter’s biometric technology in devices using Trustonic’s technology.
