The vehicle itself has more than 562 sensors that monitor the interior and exterior of the car. The doors can be locked and unlocked with facial recognition to facilitate hands-free entry, and can also be unlocked with a smart key, a smartphone ID, or with a HiPhi app that can be used remotely. Once inside the cockpit, drivers and passengers can access the infotainment system through a series of embedded screens, and the rear-view mirror can perform media streaming.
Human Horizons will have a small production run at the end of 2020, before moving forward with a full launch in the first half of 2021. The news comes shortly after Cerence revealed that it would be providing localized speech recognition technology for a new electric SUV from BJEV.
